The clock radio thefts are a common theme I have seemed to overlook over the years. I refuse to believe this is just happenstance of a peculiar liking to collect these along with class rings, cuff links, and the other memento?. Why and how did this fit in with his elaborate stalking, preparation and methods? Nothing can be overlooked with this individual as just coincidental facts that he collected clock radios as a hobby.
Speculation outside the box of conventional could lead to some pretty outlandish theories? How did he know so much about what was going on inside the victims home in so many cases? Many believed including myself, that he was inside victims homes hours before he struck because he would of had no other way to know the information he did? In the Cruz case how did he know the adults were on vacation and a male acquaintance had just left the house? How did he know the husband of one victim was in the hospital? The list goes on with these types of reoccurring coincidences where the odds simply did not favor him as chance.
Some were convinced he bugged phones, or the houses, or some type of clandestine technologies to assist him. No criminal could not be so lucky at so many events. Nothing could be put past this predator where his actions ranged from clumsy to highly advanced. The clock radios being a transistor set just feet from the victims opens the speculation door where accuracies are probable. Look! How many far fetched theories were debunked yet others were subsequently partially true?
I am not acquainted with the actual instances but perhaps we could get some clarity?

Him and those stupid clock radios! I'd love to take one of them and tie the electrical cord around his neck and strangle him with it! He stole a clock radio in the Rocklin burglary string, as well.
