Most other known serial rapists devote no more then a day or maybe two of planning before taking action and performing their sexual assault. It's more like two or three hours for most. I believe attack number #1 was planned with great detail: it was his first and the one woman he really wanted badly. Attack #5 was similar and vastly different then the other serial rapist: this is when LE knew they were dealing with a completely different animal. The #5 attack had all the earmarks of being meticulously planned with every detail covered. It most likely took several days, if not weeks, to plan before it was put into action.

That's why he did not get caught because he did plan and I also think he was looking for a physical type he liked as well. The other rapist will look for anyone who happens along; EAR was looking for one that he liked and spent more time looking then most rapist ever do. He spends more time prowling and I think that might have been his building up to an attack, a form of foreplay for the mentally disturbed sexual predator's mind set.
