The 6th attack that strange guy who showed up at the crime scene and walked inside the house is very suspicious to myself. He had a hand full of jewelry and said his house had been burglarized and knew the victim well even knowing her name. He admitted he watched her a lot and really wanted to get a look inside the crime scene in fact he did get inside the front door according to the Detective he walked right past him and was looking around. They say he was put under surveillance by the Sheriff's Department and when another attack, Attack #7, occurred the detective went to his door to contact him and he was at home. That some how cleared him in LE without question, well I don't buy that. How long was it before LE was made aware #7 had occurred ? did he have enough time to come home? I do not think that he is EAR but I might be the connection of the Rancho portion of the attacks. Thoughts of him being a friend of EAR or perhaps the second voice heard on attack #1. His house may be the house EAR fled to after attack #1,#3 and #6 and the other Rancho attacks. That last part is for the people who believe EAR lived in Carmichael.
My points are this guy was not given the treatment he deserved: he should have been investigated more and asked about friends or relatives. I also want to know if his claims of his home being burglarized was ever investigated. If the Sheriff's Department investigated his claim it would have allowed them to enter his home and look around and see how he lived what his room was like since he lived with his mother. As they took the report they would have free rein to walk around the entire house looking for evidence of his claim of a burglary. If they did what did they see? There are so many things put out in the two LE books on EAR that raise more questions then they answer.
I think that strange guy had information that may have helped the investigation and I don 't believe he was taken serious enough because LE thought he was a "fruitcake" as they refereed to him. That is the type person EAR would be friends with, we know these kind of things now and I think they blew it.
