Just curious. How many of you think the man picked up by the cab driver at the airport in Modesto and dropped off at Sylvan and Coffee was JJD?

I think it was him. Why else get dropped off by a field and happen to be walking towards the crime scene?

I think it makes no sense to say that was Deangelo. The current drive time from Auburn to Modesto is 1 hr 42 min. No way are you going to fly. When you arrive you have no car. Taking a taxi to a location near where you plan to assault is an enormous risk. Someone living a less than a mere two hours a way isn’t going to do that. Supposedly a commercial airlines flight had just arrived but it doesn’t make sense even if someone who lived less than two hours drive away were to arrive in a private little single engine prop job. No sense! I believe the taxi rider was associated with the incident but it wasn’t Deangelo.

Totally hypothetical here, What if DeAngelo were flying from Santa Barbera and made a stop while on his way back to Sac? General Aviation involves making many hops for fuel, bathroom, junk food, etc. Holes at pre-arrest said bloodhouds tracked a Walnut Creek? Danville? attack perp (considered an EAR "canonical" attack) directly to an airport. Shelby said the cab driver mentioned he had a plaid doctors bag with a zipper on top like EAR
