This did happen/had been done. steelbike, when you write, "Huh?" and "This did happen/it was done", are you saying the blood evidence from the 12-80 Los Amigos Drive burglary nick wrote about above WAS tested? Or are you responding to something else? If they had blood evidence for the 12-80 attack, if it was EAR, then Sac would have found a match with the blood evidence they had from EAR attack #13 (2-7-77, Heatchcliffe Dr. Carmichael.) You would think, anyway. Are you saying they covered it up, then, and now? |

You would think, anyway. Are you saying they covered it up, then, and now? johnny, sigh, I just don’t know bro. It’s all been frustrating and frankly, has made me a little angry thinking about it. My house on Ambassador drive was ransacked when I was a kid in late December 1978 and I witnessed cops viewing the scene and commenting that it was “kids”. I can’t believe that my dad, SSD deputy at the time (either still beating the shit out of main jail inmates or only recently a patrol officer) was privy to a conspiracy — he’s a simple guy. Coming to find the 12-26-75 blog and how exactly it matched what I experienced and that SSD was told has been a bit infuriating for me. of all the weird things that this guy did, I find his performance in court the weirdest. I can’t help but wonder if the Maggiore murders were a “hit” on someone who stuck his nose into smuggling going on through Mather AFB. It all does feel as though a lot of stuff is being swept under a rug — as it did back then. |

I think Sac Sheriff in general just wants to take the win and forget about all of the things that were done wrong. I also think they do not want to bring up the things that do not fit into the case. The case is over and they made sure JJD could not appeal the case and no other questions would arise as to how all of the crimes fit into place. I also think JJD's wife also wants this to all go away and not have to answer any questions in regards to what she knew and when.
