I do not think he had a accomplish the more I think about it, the hardest part would be keeping a secret. I think there is something to the whole two people can not keep a secret premise. It would be difficult to keep a 40 year secret for sure, I think the reason he has not been caught is he has told NO ONE! not a single person; the only reason I can think he has gotten away with it for so long.

I go back and fourth on that one myself; I do think it would be near impossible for two people to keep it quiet, like when one of them gets in trouble with the Law that would be your first get out of jail free card to play. But then I think if he had a mentally diminished partner he might not even know what EAR is doing is wrong and just helped him: or he could have thought it was a game or they were playing like it was a movie.

Although on a couple of attacks a female was seen in the area prior to the attacks acting suspicious. I did locate an unknown Jane Doe from 1987 who committed suicide off a cliff in Dana Point area, she has still not been identified, this opens speculation on my part to say what if there were others involved and she was helped off that cliff and knew something about EAR and or had guilt or feelings like that. So what I am saying is there may have been an accomplish in the beginning of the attacks and then there was one, just as easy as that female thought to have committed suicide a partner or a liability could be gone just like that.
