I have more information on the possible suspect that lived on Georgetown Drive in Rancho Cordova. The suspect was a teenager with a father in the Air Force stationed at Mather Field AFB. The suspect was very fond of military uniforms and boots I first learned about him from Shelby's book and researched him and discovered his true name and other connections that really are leading toward a copy cat situation.

Was this the teenager who was a suspect for the EMR/EBR crimes?
Do you think that this teenager may have been copying EAR, or that EAR may have been copying this teenager?
I'm wondering about attack #6, where it seems that EAR had been watching the victims since the early 70s...

I'm wondering about attack #6, where it seems that EAR had been watching the victims since the early 70s... There were more than a couple of different men that were suspected to be EBR and EMR. There was the reserve Deputy that also was connected to the 6th attack he responded to that call and then we have the strange neighbor as well. The 6th attack has so many crazy things surrounding it. The Georgetown way kid (we can call him) GWK was an actual EAR suspect and considered to be a good match for many reasons at that time. There is evidence that similar activities may have followed his father's movements when he moved. |

Was this the ‘19’ year old who I remember being rumored to have been responsible for the home invasion rape that occurred at the corner of McGregor and Ambassador drives March 28/29, 1978? I had thought that that kid lived on Van Nuys way near Van Stralen way — I’m going off of rumors that I heard from other kids on the street 42 years ago when I was 10 years old though. |

I think we got two different offenders which is even more frightening. I think there were a few of those type kids with the military clothing and twisted sexual incidents on their record. I think the Van Stralen Way guy might be the guy Shelby wrote about after I started digging I found what I thought was the Georgetown kid I in reports was actually a River's Edge Way kid and not related to Shelby's suspect. |

Believe it or not! There were some really good “teenage” suspects back then. Because at that time, (still may apply) teenage boys were responsible for a lot of burglaries, especially daytime crimes. Rancho had its share. There were many copycat attacks attributed to the ear and some were caught. The names escape me. I have spoken about this before where the kids of military were treated differently in how they were prosecuted or if at all? I think if the investigators would have focused on this, they may have been able to break the case back then. Something happened with EAR in 64. He drops out of high school gets a GED and joins the Navy. Usually this meant criminal charges dropped in lieu of service.
I can tell for certain that some of the offenders were in profile just like JJD. They fit right in. Nobody would have guessed? But something explosive was simmering below the surface. I believe a lot of young males have a period in their lives where they can explode into unimaginable acts of terror. (School shootings) Thankfully most grow out of it. Didn’t happen with JJD or the copycats he spurned back then.

It is frightening to most everyone except those who have to deal with those type of offenders to think how many other possible suspects there were at that time that covered all the check boxes of EAR. The amount of sexual offenders and even those still evolving that were uncovered was very discouraging in regards to humanity or lack of. The EAR crimes did net other criminals while LE was on high alert some sexual predators. There were many more out there for instance the thread murderinc posted about an Auburn rapist that Placer Sheriff's stated was at least 10 connected by MO, That is a serial rapist that was not mentioned unless you happen to read the last line in the local newspaper. |

Interesting what led to his capture: "Police eventually zeroed in Koehler’s son, Robert J. Koehler, whose DNA wound up in a police database because of an arrest in a domestic violence case in September. FDLE agents analyzed his full genetic profile." Yesterday I saw on 8chan the pillowcase rapist was arrested but the article was deleted. Another extremely prolific, serial offender caught! Respectable, professional, no criminal record. Like JJD, Waller etc, he seems to have been able to 'stop' offending... although the possible dungeon may suggest otherwise... |

I strongly believe and bet the Zodiac was attacking in Calif. when JJD was in basic training in 1964 and when he was in Vietnam in 1966.
