Pre-EAR sexual assault 1973- Was also EAR victim #6

This victim was critical to JJD and he had been stalking her for years. This was also a victim that was so important that JJD attempted to have the strange neighbor kid (Young adult) framed for this attack. JJD had even followed this victim to Del Camp High School for a school event years before the attack. JJD placed items from other EAR attacks inside this neighbor's home in an attempt to frame him. This victim was too close to JJD for him to take a chance on LE establishing him as a possible suspect. This victim was significant to JJD but we may never know the exact reason other than the sick perverted ways of a man who obsessed with some victims more than others. The family had been stalked and had many strange things happen over the years that did not make sense until October 9th, 1976 when the victim was assaulted. Something had caused JJD to have a connection to this particular victim, there were a few others that also had a stronger connection to JJD. I am sure many victims asked why did this happen to me and why did he come after me. The truth is JJD has a twisted brain that combines sex and violence fusion and he has an unhealthy attraction to women and girls that in real life he would never have had a chance within a real relationship. The unobtainable attracted him, and the more "out of his league" the greater the obsession. The amount of time he spent selecting victims with only a small number of unprepared unplanned sexual assaults speaks volumes to his victology. I think his very unhealthy sex drive may have caused him to commit some, although small number, of attacks that appeared to be "on the fly" due to the victims visiting or being at a location for the first time. There was even one case where he may have confused the victim with the actual target who lived next door to the attack site. I think it is important to understand how he selected victims to try to understand the criminal crime especially when the offender is a member of LE. That is the mind I want to get into and dissect for hunting future offenders and more importantly, protecting future victims. What came first being the offender or being a cop? In JJD case he seemed to have been a sexual burglar for years before becoming a cop. JJD was a daredevil who seemed to crave the excitement and was most likely from all accounts a peeping Tom as well. Something happened when he was in puberty that turned sex and violence into a combined element. JJD lost interest in "straight sex" and needed violence to gain sexual satisfaction or the fear element. He wanted women to be afraid of him and fear him and it became the only way he could enjoy sex. There was also after a while of sexually assaulting women and girls he began to empathize with his victims most likely from having female children in his marriage. I believe those crying episodes he had during some of his attacks were indeed real and not an act. But that is not an excuse or makes him a victim of any kind, it just means he had a small amount of inner toil as he aged. This is common in other serial sexual offenders but is never to suggest any of them are victims but are the predators they have always been.
